Donegal ACRES program
An environmentally ambitious agri-environment climate measure (AECM), to be known as the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (‘ACRES’), will deliver significant long-term environmental improvement through participation by a significant number of farmers on the most appropriate land, with each making a strong improvement on their farm. This will build on, and complement, achievements under Conditionality and the Eco-Scheme.

Inishowen EIP
Farming the land in a sustainable manner brings a multitude of benefits for all sectors including produce, local commerce, a product for the tourism industry to benefit from, open space for urban dwellers to engage in recreational activities, preserving our history and culture, clean air, clean water and water retention, carbon sequestration, and the green image that Ireland trades under and benefits from internationally.
